Powell has been in the business of integrated electrical enclosure solutions for more than five decades. The solutions offered for the Canadian market required a few modifications in order to optimize the design for the environmental conditions. The Powell PCR-R is a rigid frame construction with peaked roof. The true value of this enclosure is our expertise of packaging all of your distribution substation equipment into an integrated and fully functional package delivered complete and ready to install and commission. Advanced preparation allows for a quick turn from delivery to energization.

While Powell originated the PCR concept almost 50 years ago, some solutions require a simpler weather-proof answer. Any of our products can be incorporated into a shelterform type construction with either a walk-in or non walk-in feature. These are classically used for remote non-manned installations or projects where protection from the elements is needed but environmental control is not critical.
