Equipment Installation/Commissioning

Overview
Modern electrical distribution systems are complex in design and often include interconnecting with other equipment such as batteries, communications, SCADA, other switchgear assemblies and thermal monitoring. As a result, the physical delivery of the project to the jobsite is not the last stage in the process. Not only must the equipment be installed but the various systems must be verified as to correct operation. This is both a productivity and a safety issue.
There is no entity better suited to handle these tasks than Powell. We designed it, we manufactured it and we know the details of what is necessary. Our factory certified technicians are ready to provide the level of service you require in order to move your project to that "ready to go" stage.
|
Powell factory certified technicians can provide as much or as little of installation and commissioning services as you require. For installation we can provide simple supervisory services to be there to see that the equipment is properly off loaded, moved, stored or prepared for installation. Alternately Powell can provide all the needed personnel and equipment needed to get your equipment installed with a complete "turn-key" approach. Commissioning of equipment requires a great deal of verification and testing to make sure everything is correct and all safe guards are in place. This often involves test equipment and procedures. Powell can provide everything from as little as rental of the needed test equipment to a completely staffed process including commissioning spare parts and all required field experts.
|
The same expertise that Powell brings to the custom engineering, design, and manufacture of your electrical solution can be brought to the field activities associated with your project tasks of installation and commissioning. Let us add the Powell experience and expertise to make certain that your project goes through the start up process with the same ease as the production portion of the project.
